pushed is the right word too. the part that vexes me so much is that some people can see how we are pushed in a superficial way, but they cannot see that religion installed in the culture, is the foundation of the levers of control, in the pushing. I especially like the silent rain one.
Music is an essential for humans being their very best, and not their worst. I have other article, i sort of made for myself of great singers, great songs in different genres. All to cheer myself up. Because singers like Nina Simone, are pretty potent morale boosters.
